The start of this blog also marks the start of a new semester here at BYU. These first two weeks have been packed with learning new nursing skills. Among other exciting procedures, we've learned how to start IVs, become surgically aseptic (you know you're excited about that), and insert feeding tubes. We are just so unfortunate that we have to practice on each other, and let me just say that that last one was more than slightly unpleasant (*cringes*). Anyway, hopefully I'm ready to get back out in the clinical scene!
